Tornillo Cabeza Allen
El Tornillo cabeza Allen o tornillo de cabeza hueca es un tipo de tornillo de máquina que tiene una cabeza cilíndrica para recibir una llave Allen. En la mayoría de los casos, estos tornillos se utilizan para unir metal a metal y deben instalarse firmemente para garantizar una conexión segura.
Por lo general, se usan cuando es probable que el artículo se desmonte y vuelva a montar con el tiempo. Como puede ser el caso en el ensamblaje de maquinaria, vehículos y equipos de ingeniería. De ahí que tienen varios beneficios sobre otros tipos de tornillo, lo que los hace ideales para ciertas aplicaciones industriales.

VENTAJAS / BENEFICIOS
- Primeramente, estos están diseñados principalmente para usarse en ensamblajes donde no hay suficiente espacio libre para instalar una tuerca y un tornillo convencionales o para maniobrar una llave de tubo estándar.
- Además son ideales para aplicaciones en las que el acceso es limitado, como en las máquinas, y en ensamblajes de precisión con tolerancias estrechas que necesitan una apariencia bien terminada.
- Por último, los tornillo de llave Allen son una excelente alternativa a los tornillos de cabeza hexagonal, ya que no necesitan ser apretados externamente. Su forma cilíndrica única realmente le ahorra espacio.
